Thank you for participating in the testing phase of our DAoC freeshard. Your insights are invaluable to us as we strive to create a balanced, engaging, and enjoyable game experience. Please provide detailed feedback on the following aspects of the game:

Loot

  • Drop Rate: How often do items drop from mobs? Do you feel the drop rate is balanced for both solo and group play?
  • Variety: Are the items that drop varied enough to keep looting exciting?
  • Value: Do the items that drop feel valuable and useful for your character's progression?
  • Overall Feel: How satisfying is the looting experience overall? Any suggestions for improvement?

Crafting

  • Intuitiveness: How easy is it to understand and get started with crafting? Were you able to learn the crafting system without external help?
  • Usefulness: Do the items you craft feel useful and relevant to your gameplay?
  • Fun Factor: Is crafting an enjoyable activity? Why or why not?
  • Practicality: How practical is crafting in the context of the game's economy and progression? Any areas for improvement?

Exploration

  • Intuitiveness: How easy is it to navigate and explore the game world? Are there any areas where you felt lost or confused?
  • Immersion: How immersive is the exploration experience? Do the environments feel alive and engaging?
  • Suggestions: Any specific areas or aspects of exploration that could be improved?

Classes

  • Bugs: Have you encountered any bugs related to class skills, abilities, or mechanics?
  • Regeneration Rates: How do the regeneration rates for health, mana, etc., feel for your class? Too fast, too slow, or just right?
  • Class Adjustments: Any feedback on the current state of your class, including balance, fun factor, and utility in group play?

Mob Camps

  • Density: Is the density of mobs in camps appropriate for solo and group play?
  • Placement: How do you feel about the placement of mob camps in relation to each other and points of interest?
  • Level Transitioning: Are mob camps appropriately scaled for smooth level progression?

XP Rate Overall

  • Progression Feel: How do you feel about the overall pace of progression up to level ~10, 15, 20? Too fast, too slow, or just right?

Overall Game Feel

  • Performance: How is the game's performance, including lag and frame rate?
  • General Feedback: Any other remarks or suggestions for improving the game experience?

Reporting Bugs

We have created a dedicated bug-reports Discord channel which you can use to report whatever bugs you find. Please use the search feature to see if it was reported already and add to that thread.

SIDENOTE:

We will not strictly limit the level that players can reach. Level 50 is attainable, but the Frontiers and zones higher than level 25-ish are not yet adjusted to meet our standards, so the value of testing those level ranges is low at the moment.
